There was no response from the buttons whatsoever, completely as if they've gone dead. Trying to reset the seat position from scratch did not work either as I suspect that along with the "1" and "2" buttons the "set" button also does not work. I ended up adjusting the seat without using memory, but then Problem 2:
Noticed seat memory is not working. I can adjust the seat in all directions just well but when I try to save the position, nothing happens. Followed procedure to the letter. Put ignition on, adjust the seat, press SET and then within 10 secs press desired memory location. A bong should be heard but nothing happens on mine. My Photo Gallery: 0. Seems to me you're probably missing 2 or 3 of the connectors required to power the seat. You probably only got the airbag and seat heater plugged in. The seat wouldn't return to my settings and if I pushed the memory button, it wouldn't work right away and only by pushing it over and over could I get the seat to return to a normal position. This was frustrating when it happened because it took about 20 button pushes to finally inch my seat to where it was supposed to be.
